We talked about artist who left the most valued masterpieces behind them, but the list wasn’t finish. So welcome to the second and last part where we are going to discuss the most valued piece of artwork left be some of the most famous artists in history, with their current value.

A Russian American Painter who is known for defining the modern art. His work, No.6 is considered as the most valuable piece of art today. It was recently valued $186 million. The artist is known for his canvases which feature vibrant shapes.

Rembrandt

This is one of the most dated mentions in our list. The Portrait of Marten Soolmans and Portrait of Oopjen Coppit were completed in 1634. Today, it values $180 million as a pair. They were a couple, and the paintings are meant to be displayed together.

Pablo Picasso

The most famous painter of modern generation gets his spot. His colorful Display shown in Les Femmes D’Alger (Version O) is valued at $178 million. Picasso was known for his vibrant display of shapes and colors and this case was no different. He made 15 different versions. The last one was complete in 1955.

Amedeo Modigiliani

Nu Couche remains one of the most expensive pieces of art ever.  It is valued near $170 million and remains Amedeo Modigiliani most famous work.  It was recently sold in 2015 in New York City to Lui Yiqian, founder of two private museums in Shanghai.

Alright, this is not the name of the creator, but his creation. Jackson Pollock is the only artist who once again makes his mark in our list thanks to his work No.5. The  work is defined by Organic lines with droplets of red, blue, and yellow paint in different shades. It is valued nearly $140 million.
